Secure by design
Security considerations are incorporated into technical architecture and engineering decisions from the beginning of an engagement.
Security is part of how Iovelia designs, builds and delivers technology. Across software, data, cloud and AI engineering, we consider security from architecture through development and deployment.
We apply security practices appropriate to the systems, information and risks involved in each engagement.
Security considerations are incorporated into technical architecture and engineering decisions from the beginning of an engagement.
Access to systems, environments and information is managed according to business requirements and the principle of least privilege.
We apply appropriate technical and organisational safeguards to protect information throughout its lifecycle, including where systems process personal or sensitive data.
Security forms part of our software development practices, including code quality, dependency management, vulnerability management and appropriate testing.
We design cloud environments with security considerations around identity, configuration, access, monitoring, resilience and data protection.
We assess risks, review controls and improve our practices as technologies, threats and regulatory requirements evolve.
Iovelia is building its information security management practices in alignment with ISO/IEC 27001:2022, integrating the policies, controls and processes required to support our path towards formal certification.
Certification is currently in progress and has not yet been obtained.
Where personal data forms part of the systems we design or operate, data protection requirements are considered throughout the engineering lifecycle.
Our own processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Different industries, organisations and jurisdictions can introduce additional security and compliance requirements. Where applicable to an engagement, these requirements are considered as part of solution architecture, engineering and delivery.
Security considerations continue throughout the technology lifecycle rather than ending when development is complete.
Identify security requirements and risks early.
Apply secure engineering and development practices.
Protect environments, access and configuration.
Support monitoring, maintenance and vulnerability management appropriate to the engagement.
Review controls and adapt as systems and risks evolve.
